Friends, it has come time for our dearest David to leave us.  We've known that he'll be attending Cal Poly in the fall, but a surprise opportunity to intern at Yahoo in occasionally sunny Sunnyvale has put him in a whirlwind of packing for his June 9th start date.  Since there won't be much more time for goodbyes before he ships off to the land of OAuth and OpenID, I wanted to throw a little going away picnic for him on Sunday afternoon.

Who:  The Society of the Friends and Co-Workers of David Horn

What:  Picnic

When:  Sunday, June 1 - 1pm until 6pm.  BBQ will start promptly at or around 3:00.  Feel free to come and go as your schedule allows.

Where:  Seagrove Park in Del Mar [map]

What to bring:  I'll be providing fixins for burgers (yes, even ones made out of meat), chips, and brownies...bring a side dish if you wanna show off.  I'll also have some beer and mixers, but depending on how many people RSVP it would be advisable to BYOB (glass not allowed).  Also advisable to bring chairs, blankets, outdoor throwing type things, quarters / cash for parking, and a jacket in case it gets windy.  Seth, this would be a great occasion for those fire poi you keep telling me about.  =]
